About Us

  • We are a mixed group of Christians of all ages.

  • Most of us live in the Stapleton area but some travel from further afield.

    Church family
  • Our minister is Rev Stephen Pullin, the priest-in-charge of Stapleton and Frenchay. He is assisted by a team of ordained and lay  ministers.

  • Our beliefs are based on the Bible, which reveals God's love for us and his desire for us to know and follow him. It's the world's best seller and a great read!

  • As the name Holy Trinity suggests, we share with other Christians the belief in God the Father who created us and cares for us, God the Son who gave his life to save us, and God the Spirit who gives us new life.

  • On Sundays, we meet together for worship in the Church building : at 8.30am, 10.30am and 6.30pm (4pm in the winter).

  • During the week our House Groups meet for worship, prayer and Bible study, and there is a mid-week service in Church on Wednesdays at 10am. Also, several activities take place in the Hall, such as Stapleton Toddlers, Girls' Club, Boys Brigade, Prayer & Praise, and Stapleton Crafters.

  • Alpha Courses are run from time to time, to help people find out more about the Christian faith.

  • Like all Churches we conduct baptisms, weddings and funerals.

  • Our links with other local churches are strong. We are part of a Mission Partnership embracing the parishes of Downend, Mangotsfield, Frenchay and Stapleton. We also hold occasional joint services with the Baptist and Methodist Churches in Stapleton, and share in a quarterly Prayer & Praise with churches in Stapleton and Fishponds.

  • We also enjoy close links with the three schools in our parish : Colston's, Begbrook and Glenfrome. Colston's School uses the Church regularly for its own morning assemblies and services, and the pupils of Begbrook join us for their annual Carol Service. As an Anglican church, we also have a close relationship with St Mary Redcliffe & Temple School, which a number of our young people attend.
