Monthly Services at Greenfinch Lodge and Shearwater Court

We hold informal monthly services at Greenfinch Lodge, Sheldrake Drive, and Shearwater Court, off Begbrook Lane, each month (for dates and times please see the monthly Diary).

These are much appreciated by residents who are unable to attend the weekly service in Church.

Although the services are held primarily for the residents in the two sheltered accommodation complexes, they are open to others living in the immediate area who would like to attend.

 

Holy Communion at Home

We can provide Holy Communion at home for those parishoners who are unable to come to these services at Church.

Pastoral Care

The aims of our Pastoral Care Group are to maintain awareness of the pastoral needs within the Church and the community of Stapleton Parish, and to provide pastoral care where requested.

People are brought to the group's notice for many reasons, and we are committed to giving pastoral care to those parishoners concerned for as long as it is needed.

There are nine Pastoral Care Assistants, each CRB checked, who provide support for the identified needs of parishoners. In addition, they maintain a prayer network and offer prayer ministry, meet regularly to support each other and participate in training to enable them to give effective pastoral care.
