New website coming soon

We are designing a new website to help us share lots of information about the life of the church community here in Stapleton.
Thank you for your patience as we plan, gather, write, photograph, edit and layout all the most helpful content.
In the meantime here are some key details about our life as a church family.

Holy Trinity Church in Stapleton

We are a friendly community of local people, learning to trust and follow Jesus together.
We host different groups and activities for the people of Stapleton during the week.
And we gather on Sunday mornings in the church building with the spire at the top of Bell Hill. Everyone is welcome.

New Vicar

Rev Vicky Wicks is now working with a small team to lead Holy Trinity into this next chapter of church life.

She and her husband Rob recently moved to Stapleton from St Michael’s Church, Stoke Gifford.

Vicky’s passion is for people to feel welcome, to meet Jesus and to find a place to belong. Lots of her work for the church seems to involve sharing good food.

.Annual Church Meeting

Once a year we are all invited to our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM). It’s a short meeting at which we look back with gratitude and look forward with anticipation. We get to vote in our church committee (PCC) members, our church wardens and to hear updates
from different areas of church life. We share a summary of our finances. We give all the praise to Jesus as everything we do, and all that we have, and all our vision and inspiration comes from him.

Sunday 19 May 12.00
midday in the church building

This year the APCM is taking place on Sunday 19 May in the church building at 12 noon (or as soon after the 10.30 service as we can manage). Coffee, tea and cake provided. The meeting should last no more than half an hour. Everyone is welcome and extra toys will be provided for children to play with, to enable more parents to join in.

Church Celebration

We are gathering to celebrate the start of this exciting new chapter in our life as a church community. Local people from two churches have come together to create a new church family at Holy Trinity, to share Jesus, to love and serve the people of Stapleton, and to follow where God leads. You are invited to join us as we pray for our new vicar and celebrate the start of this adventure together.

Thursday 23 May
7.00pm in the church building

A service of celebration and commissioning followed by refreshments of prosecco, soft drinks, savoury and sweet nibbles, tea and coffee.
If you are able to join us please email so we can organise the right number of chairs and refreshments.
