Easter @ HTS

Easter is the most special celebration in the church’s calendar. It’s not about bunnies and chocolate, but about life after death – Jesus’ bodily resurrection!

It is this single event that defines our Christian faith. If Jesus wasn’t raised, then our faith is futile.

For this reason, we offer various services and groups in order to remind us of the huge sacrifice that Jesus made for us and the overwhelming victory that he then achieved.

Easter at HTS starts with Lent. There are groups meeting both at Stapleton and Frenchay when you can spend time with others thinking about the Cross. The groups will continue for 5 weeks and begin on 22nd/23rd Feb:

Thursdays @ 10.30am. Venue:  Stapleton Church Hall

Thursdays @ 7.30pm. Venue: Frenchay Parish Church (refreshments from 7.15pm)

Thursdays @ 7.45 pm (refreshments from 7.15) Venue: Stapleton Church Hall (please note: 1st March will be cancelled if we have snow!)

Fridays @ 2.00pm. Venue: 19 Glenside Close, Frenchay BS16 2Qy

If you are unable to come to all of the sessions, come to what you can at the venues that are convenient. All session materials will be provided.

Please contact David Bate if you need any more info about lent groups
